Tips for studying Retina:
The retina can be difficult to prepare, as there are many oddly named diseases (fundus albipunctatus AND albipunctatis albescens … you’ve got to be kidding?). I’ve found the best yield is to look at the pictures, and do as many questions as possible and reference to my study course whenever coming across unknown terms.

Some topics seem to be very testable … these include the white dot syndromes, Best disease, Lebers LHON, and some ERG stuff. Also, the retinal findings of phacomatosis is fair game, so make sure you understand with that tuberous sclerosis astrocytoma and Von Hippel’s capillary hemangioma look like.
